Service of Welcome and Commissioning for new Headteachers in Church of England Schools
To help those parishes who wish to welcome a new headteacher and to celebrate the shared commitment of the school and parish to fulfilling the Church’s mission to the nation we have produced a simple service of welcome and commissioning which can either be incorporated into an appropriate existing service or held as a separate service, perhaps within or at the end of the school day.
