Clergy
The Education team is available to provide advice and support to all clergy working in schools, whether they are Church schools, community schools or independent schools. Clergy may interact with schools in a number of ways and we hope that whatever your role with a particular school, you will find help with this aspect of your ministry on this site. If you have any particular issue that you would like to discuss in confidence, please contact the team who will be pleased to assist with individual queries.
The Culham Institute has produced a very useful web-based guide for clergy working in schools. Although entitled ‘Clergy and RE’, it provides a broad picture of how schools work and what their expectations of you are likely to be!
Another useful website for general information and advice about working with schools in different ways is www.localchurchlocalschool.org.uk.
