Help with Stewardship

If your church needs help with stewardship, the York Diocese Christian Giving Resources Group can assist. They provide or recommend useful material and information for those who teach, encourage and manage the stewardship of God's generosity in local churches.

One of the schemes that the CGRG provide is TRIO – The Responsibility Is Ours

If you would like to talk to one of the CGRG's advisers call Paul Lightburn at the Diocesan Office on 01904 699533.

TRIO may not be appropriate for smaller rural churches, but the Rural Churches Scheme has had success in this area.

Another good resource for looking at stewardship in your church is Parish Resources. This site is provided by the Church of England's National Stewardship Department and offers a wide range of resources to support all aspects of stewardship in the local church.
