PCC Treasurers Training Events

Further to the recent online survey of PCC Treasurers, Secretaries and members, it is clear that there is considerable interest in support and training both for existing office holders and those new in post and a number of seminars have been organised. It is hoped that the benefits of these will be an improved understanding of the responsibilities of being a PCC Treasurer, more productive PCC meetings and improved communications between PCCs and Diocesan Officers. Issues to be covered will include: Legal and financial overview of a PCC; Principles of PCC accounts; Format of accounts and the Annual Report.

Two events per Archdeaconry are currently being organised, which will be led by Catherine Evans, Finance Manager. Final venue details will be sent out in due course. There will be a maximum limit of 30 attendees at each event.

When: Saturday 11th September from 9.30am-12.30pm (with coffee from 9am)

Where: Wydale Hall, Brompton by Sawdon, nr Scarborough.
