Celebratory Weekend at the parish of Felixkirk with Boltby

The parish of Felixkirk with Boltby are celebrating the 150th anniversary of the restoration of St. Felix Church, Felixkirk, on Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th September.

On Friday 3rd September at 7.30 pm there will be an organ recital by Dr. Simon Lindley (Organist of Leeds Parish Church). Tickets cost £7 incl. glass of wine and canapés - call 01845 597384 to book a ticket.

On Saturday 4th September there will be the Church Open Day with floral decorations, guided tours and organ recitals at 11am, 12 noon, 2.30 & 3.30 pm. There will be refreshments in the Village Hall from 10.30 – 4.30pm.

The weekend will culminate with a Festival Eucharist in St Felix at 11am on Sunday, with the Archbishop of York, The Most Revd and Rt Hon Dr John Sentamu, and the Hillside Music in Worship Group.
