St. Mary's church Thirsk is celebrating the 600th anniversary of the casting of its tenor bell with a church full of fascinating facts and all manner of bells. Church is open daily from 10.00a.m.-4.00p.m. Midday to 4.00p.m. on Sundays. Admission free.Donations to church funds welcome .Crypt open on Mondays for refreshments and lunches.
