Education: Welcome

Mission

Church Schools are at the heart of the Church of England's mission. They faithfully serve children and parents of all faiths and of none, providing a quality education and adding values to the communities in which they live and work.

Ethos Statement for Church of England Schools

Recognising their historic foundation, our schools will preserve and develop their religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at parish and diocesan level.

Our schools aim to serve their communities by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. They encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promote Christian values through the experience they offer to all their pupils.
