Providing secretarial and administrative support for the Archbishop’s Chaplain & Researcher in their role as CDM Administrator on clergy discipline matters, the post-holder will be responsible for drafting email and letter responses to general enquiries, dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence using mail merge when appropriate, making calls and sending e-mails as directed by the Chaplain and creating and maintaining a current filing system. Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent with a proven track record of working with highly confidential information, demonstrating an eye for detail and good communication skills, both written and oral, you will be required to deal with people at all levels and walks of life. Experienced in the use of MS Office, you will be able to work calmly under pressure ensuring deadlines are met. Whilst not essential, shorthand skills and previous experience of working in a legal environment would be an advantage.
