Lynn works 2 days a week as the Diocesan Director of Reader Studies, planning for and providing initial and continuing ministerial education for Readers across the diocese. This includes overseeing training at the Driffield, Middlesbrough and York Centres, organising the Wydale weekends for Readers and also a variety of other training events, some of which run jointly with clergy and ecumenical partners. Lynn also works 3 days a week as a senior lecturer at York St John University, including teaching on the Foundation Degree in Theology and Ministry – the course which contributes to the Reader Training programme. She currently manages the York Centre, overseeing the delivery of the programme and providing academic support for the students studying there.
