Education Team
The Education Team provide professional advice and assistance to support schools, colleges, universities and parishes in their Christian mission to children and young people through education.

Dr Ann Lees
Ann is is responsible for managing the work of the Education Department and is the lead officer in the development of the Board of Education strategy and policies for working with children and young people in schools, colleges and universities. She works closely with local authority colleagues on school organisational matters and represents the Board in appropriate contexts at local and national level.
Anita Ranyell
Anita is the first point of contact for the Education Department and, if she cannot deal with queries herself, directs them to the member of the Team who can. She handles communication with schools, bookings for conferences and training events, the administration of SIAS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools) and the appointment of foundation governors.
Viv Todd
Viv has particular responsibility for co-ordinating school support and training programmes. She has particular responsibility for resourcing school governors and deals with admissions issues in voluntary aided schools. She also oversees the delivery of the Service Level Agreement with schools. Viv shares with Ann the responsibility for supporting governors in the appointment of headteachers.
Simon Quartermaine
Simon advises on school development, property and trust matters and is responsible for the financial management of capital projects in voluntary aided schools. Simon's other responsibilities include liaising with local authorities and consultants, and he also handles the Total Property Management scheme in conjunction with DBE Services Ltd.
Celia Roberts and Olivia Seymour
Celia and Olivia support schools in strengthening their Christian ethos and on Religious Education and collective worship, by producing resources, putting on training events, sharing good practice and developing networks. Part of their role is to help schools prepare for SIAS and to work with them in putting together and implementing their post-inspection action plan. They are also responsible for the training and support of SIAS inspectors. Celia and Olivia also offer support and training to clergy and others who work with schools.
